In this role, you will:Monitor, assess, and evaluate portfolio trends and to provide ongoing timely insights on developing portfolio trends and KPIs to achieve its annual targetsEngage in portfolio performance routine including weekly/monthly results, monthly forecasting, and annual planning in collaboration with Product Team and FinanceDevelop and apply financial models to measure the performance of the businessMonitor competitor offers and ensure investment portfolio's strategic positioningContinue to enhance and adjust rate optimization models and its underlying methodologies to ensure rates offered are competitive and help meet financial and non‐financial KPIsSupport the design, development, and maintenance of portfolio models for business analysis and pricing models for pricing exceptionsUnderstand the data and be able to recommend solutions for the design of input and output files when the business needs to develop new analytics or reportsManage or support ad-hoc assignments or special projects for Retail Deposits & Investments in partnership with business line, finance, analytics,



retail channel and external partnersManage the Deposits Exception Pricing Desk and the SmartBot tool, supporting across Canadian Retail Banking, Private Banking, and Advisor Deposit Services channelsMonitor, track and provide key insights to the Pricing committee on exception trends and competitor offersAssist in managing the GIC Early Redemption inbox to review the exception cases for redeeming non-redeemable GICsAssist the pricing optimization and execution of the approval pricing changes across the Retail Products and Advisor Deposit Services in a timely manner in order to provide a positive customer experience, prevent adverse impact to our P&L, and ensure no regulatory breachesRecommend opportunities to improve our expectation policy and increase operational efficiency by enhancing processes and toolsUnderstand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisionsActively pursue effective and effective operations, their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct riskChampion a high performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environmentDo you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:Related post-secondary education / MBA or other advanced degree preferredMultiple years of experience in the financial services industryExperience in product P&L management, finance and/or business analyticsA good understanding of the GIC market, products,
