This team works onsite in the Burnaby office three days a week.Your ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Technical Artist (Sr. TA) develops pipelines, workflows, and technological innovations used by content creators from the FC team. Reporting to the Director of Technical Art, the Sr. TA partners with development teams to build shared and scalable solutions. Key responsibilities include:Developing in‐game content workflows and asset optimization/integration at runtime.Assuming ownership of technical issues and bringing them to resolution.Leading one or more domains in game development.Backgrounds in Art, Design, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science are welcome,
provided there is comfort working with both artistic and technical elements.Your QualificationsAt least 6+ years of games production experience.Experience with game engines such as Unreal and Blueprints.Experience with content‐related optimization techniques in games.A bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field.Effective communication with artists, engineers, and managers.Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python or C# (C++ is a bonus but not required).A solutions‐provider mindset, especially in testing and debugging technical issues.A willingness to explore the unknown and solve current problems.A passion for games.Compensation And BenefitsPay ranges for this role are based on location. For example, in British Columbia the range is $141,400 – $204,400 CAD.
