In this critical role, you will oversee the implementation of safety management systems while partnering with internal teams and contractors. Your responsibilities include championing safety culture, ensuring adherence to Ontario occupational health and safety regulations, and enhancing contractor safety performance. You will support effective training initiatives, incident investigations, and audits that promote continuous improvement throughout our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Champion a proactive safety culture through team engagement
• Ensure compliance with Ontario OHSA and safety regulations




• Oversee hazard identification and mitigation for high-risk work
• Manage contractor safety performance and compliance audits
• Lead incident investigations and corrective action planning
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety
• 5+ years of experience in renewable or industrial sectors
• Solid knowledge of Ontario OHSA regulations
• CPO certifications in safety practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
