Valedoorn Farms Inc. (7062 Whelpton Road, Agassiz, BC) is hiring a Livestock Foreman for its cattle division.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily reports on the health and condition of farm operations.
- Give instruction to staff and perform general farm duties.
- Follow Government Dairy regulations in the sterilization of milking systems.
- Support and control biosecurity measures.
- Handle large herds and breeding programs.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in a farm setting, including raising young cows and recognizing health problems.
- Good knowledge of husbandry and biosecurity.
- Agricultural or college background and valuable knowledge of English.
- Ability to work nights and weekend shifts.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
