We'd love to hear from you!We're looking for a Mechanical Designer for Space Products to join our satellite systems team at our Montreal office.RoleAs a mechanical designer of space products, you will work with a multidisciplinary engineering team to develop antennas and structures used on state-of-the‐art satellites. As part of one or more project teams, and under the supervision of an experienced engineer, you will be responsible for developing concepts for our custom space products for international clients. From the proposal phase through detailed design,



you will define the components of mechanical assemblies to ensure that the final product meets the client's specific needs and can withstand harsh environmental space conditions. To design the product, you will use a suite of state-of-the‐art software tools, such as 3D design and simulation software, to model concepts and predict product behavior. You will help develop mass‐production budgets and provide support for the manufacturing and mechanical testing of the equipment, which is typically conducted at MDA. You may also be asked to support research and development of new, high‐performance designs and to monitor international component suppliers.
