Join our TeamAbout this roleJoin Ericsson Antenna Systems Rosenheim (Germany) as an RF Propagation and Antenna Engineer for Mobile Network Performance Simulation, where you'll combine antenna expertise and system-level thinking to improve real-world network performance. You will investigate how base station antenna products and emerging network developments affect coverage, capacity and user experience, and contribute to the development of simulation tools used for system analysis. Working closely with R&D, product managers and cross-functional teams, you will drive studies on antenna and system requirements and translate technical findings into actionable product and network recommendations.What you will doPerform technical investigations on the performance of base station antenna products and their influence on the network performance and new developments in the networkContribute to the development of network simulation tools for system analysisDrive and participate in studies regarding requirements of base station antennas and system solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new challenges and opportunities for antenna developmentsSupport product managers, R&D, business, and market units regarding product documentation, development, technical customer requirements, and further requests.The skills you bringA Master's or above in electrical engineering, communications engineering, or equivalent.Excellent knowledge of channel modelling, cellular networks and MIMO systemsAdvanced Python and MATLAB knowledgeExperience in antenna simulations software like HFSS,



CSTExperience in developing statistical models and solutions for predictive data analysis and machine learningGood understanding of 3GPP standard and cellular networksPassive intermodulationStrong understanding of RF (Radio Frequency) and antenna principlesUnderstanding of base station antenna architectures, especially AAS (Active Antenna System) productsScientific expertise or work experience in research projects is an advantageWork experience across interdisciplinary teamsTeamwork mentalityStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective written and spoken communications skill in English.
