This will be done by formulating a finance strategy for the profitable long-term growth of the business through the maximization of returns on financial assets and seeking opportunities to reduce costs and increase capital. It is required for all jobs.Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure for the Canadian OperationsCoordinate, analyze and report the financial performance to Management and Board of Directors (financial performance, projections and other special projects as required)Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external partiesCollaborate with audit and tax functions on activities to review overall financial performance of the CompanyDevelop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and reportingProficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent IFRS, GAAP, SEC rules and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley complianceSelects, coaches and develops high performing teams in all areas of customer billing, cash applications and collections. Establishes measurable goals and performs continual measurement, coaching and counseling to team membersRemain current on operational trends, technological developments and regulatory changesHires, trains, develops, monitors, and evaluates performance of staff.
