The Automotive Account Manager serves as a liaison between the Dealership(s) to which you are assigned and the centralized Regional Business Office.Please note: this is an on-site role located in Ontario, CA.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive accounting, dealership financial management, and a deep understanding of the automotive industry. As an Automotive Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, optimizing financial processes, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and manage all aspects of the dealership financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.Dealership Accounting:Oversee the recording and reconciliation of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and industry standards.Manage the dealership financial statements, trial balances, and other financial documents, collaborating with the accounting team as necessary.Process Improvement:Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance financial processes, utilizing technology and best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy.Team Leadership and Development:Lead and manage the assigned accounting team, providing guidance, training,
