Position to start immediately.Richmond Adult Mental Health Team (0.3 FTE) is a program that provides longer‐term management of serious and persistent mental health conditions requiring an interdisciplinary treatment team. The majority of referrals are from Family Physicians in the community, the Emergency Department, and the In‐Patient Unit.Richmond Hospital Psychiatric Assessment Unit (PAU)/ED In‐Patient Service (0.45 FTE) is based at Richmond Hospital and provides services to admitted in‐patients. The psychiatrist would provide psychiatric assessment and treatment to patients admitted in medical and surgical wards, consult in the Emergency Department, and liaise and collaborate with the primary care team for integrated patient care.Richmond Mental Health Out‐Patient Services (OPD) (0.25 FTE) is based in Richmond Hospital and provides consultation and short‐term management of general mental health conditions of moderate severity. The majority of referrals are from Family Physicians, the Emergency Department, and In‐Patient Unit. The Out‐Patient department also has a robust group program and the successful candidate would participate in the development of individual and group psychotherapy, running of groups,
