Position Overview:Located in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America (MNVNA) is the facility responsible for the production of the Ford Mustang GTD.Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America (MNVNA) is seeking a Materials Supervisor to lead, monitor and manage warehouse inventory activities of all Materials transactions, to ensure uninterrupted supply of parts to production and maintain inventory levels to targets. The Materials Supervisor will report directly to the Materials Manager and will work closely with the Production team to fulfil the needs of the business.Duties & ResponsibilitiesComply with relevant local Health & Safety legislation & company Health & Safety PoliciesLead the Pickers and Transaction Support Team to assure all production components are supplied to the assembly line in an accurate and timely mannerOversee Preparation and Validation of all Pick Lists for all Parts and buildsLead Vehicle build scheduling and schedule changesPhysical Parts Movement in the warehouse and the plant, when requiredAssist Materials Manager in Production Order CreationAssure all parts allocations for all Production orders are completed in SAPAssure Service Parts are picked, staged and shipped as per Service Parts Delivery scheduleSupport Stock Draw ProcessLead assigned teams during Physical Inventory CountsNotify Material Manager of any potential issuesAssure all transactions are done in timely manner, while maintaining transactional accuracy,
from Initial Parts Receiving & Sales/Production Order Creation to Final Parts Allocations for both Physical Parts movement and SAP/IMS System TransactionsWork cross-functionally with other teams and departments to support business objectivesSupport other tasks as assigned by Materials ManagerEducation, Skills & Experience5 to 10 years of Materials Supervisory experience in manufacturing or automotive industry is preferredKnowledge of SAP or/and other MRP/ERP SystemsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and have an ability to present information visuallyExcellent attention to detailStrong robust logical decision making and problem-solving skillsConfident leadership skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsMust be able to effectively communicate and interact with internal and external customersWork in compliance with TS16949 Standards and ISO 14001. As well as Lean Manufacturing and 5S concepts awareness and adherenceForklift, Reach Truck, Order Picker qualifications are an assetCollege diploma in Supply Chain management or equivalent is an assetThis job posting is for an existing vacancy.
