We are constantly studying and evaluating our benefits and policies to better meet present and future requirements.Position– Lead Inspector (Aircraft Maintenance / MRO)The Lead Inspector is responsible for overseeing and performing aircraft inspections in a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) setting. This role ensures all maintenance and modification work is completed in compliance with FAA regulations, company standards, and airworthiness requirements while supporting heavy maintenance operations on widebody aircraft.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform aircraft inspections during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activitiesLead and support inspection personnel during heavy maintenance operationsInspect aircraft, components, and maintenance work to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company standardsReview maintenance documentation, work packages, and completed repairs for accuracy and complianceRead and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, SRMs, and technical documentationEnsure proper completion of inspection records and maintenance documentationCoordinate with maintenance and production teams to resolve discrepancies and support project completionConduct return-to-service inspections and verify airworthiness requirements are metAssist in training and mentoring inspection personnelMaintain a clean, safe,
and organized work environmentFollow all safety procedures and company guidelinesOther duties as assignedCompetenciesTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Leadership– Provides guidance and support to inspection teamsCommunication– Communicates clearly with team members and leadershipDependability– Maintains reliability and accountabilityInitiative– Takes ownership of inspection quality and complianceTeamwork– Works collaboratively in a heavy maintenance environmentWork Quality– Ensures precision, accuracy, and regulatory complianceSafety– Promotes and follows strict safety standardsProblem Solving– Identifies and resolves maintenance and compliance discrepancies effectivelySummary of Education, Experience & CertificationHigh School diploma or equivalent required.Minimum 4+ years of aircraft inspection or maintenance experience requiredWidebody aircraft experience requiredFAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license requiredInspection Authorization (IA) preferredMilitary aircraft maintenance or inspection experience consideredMust be authorized to work in the United StatesRequired Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong knowledge of FAA regulations and aircraft inspection proceduresExperience performing inspections in an MRO or heavy maintenance environmentAbility to read and interpret maintenance manuals, SRMs, engineering drawings, and technical documentationExperience reviewing maintenance documentation and airworthiness recordsStrong understanding of aircraft systems, structures, and maintenance practicesAbility to identify discrepancies and ensure corrective actions are completed properlyStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality and complianceLeadership experience or ability to guide and support inspectors and techniciansMust provide own toolsAbility to lift, stand, and work in various physical positions throughout the shift #J-18808-Ljbffr
