This permanent full-time role, reporting to the Director of Finance, focuses on leading payroll governance and ensuring accurate payroll processes. With 5-10 years of finance or accounting leadership experience, you will train and supervise a dedicated payroll team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead payroll function with strategic governance
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Manage payroll team’s workflow and training
• Conduct performance assessments annually
• Oversee month-end accruals and financial reconciliations
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Finance or equivalent
• 5-10 years of finance leadership experience
• Payroll Compliance Qualified (PCP) certification
• Knowledge of hospital accounting principles
• Experience with Ontario Health Care Reporting (OHRS)
