In this role, you will lead the construction of a new transit station, overseeing civil, structural, architectural, and MEP scopes to ensure work is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams, you will play a key role in delivering critical transit infrastructure that will serve the community for years to come.Essential ResponsibilitiesReview project contracts, design documents, specifications, schedules, budgets, and technical requirements to ensure successful project executionLead and coordinate station-related construction activities, including civil, structural, architectural, and MEP scopesLiaise with clients, designers, consultants, engineering teams, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and maintain project alignmentDevelop and implement construction execution plans, including staging, sequencing, logistics, procurement, equipment, and subcontracting strategiesManage technical reviews of design documents, identify constructability concerns, and recommend solutions to optimize project deliveryMonitor site activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, safety programs, and environmental regulationsReview and coordinate project schedules, identify risks and opportunities, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain key milestonesManage change requests, RFIs, field instructions,



and scope modifications while minimizing impacts to schedule and budgetLead client communications, progress reporting, stakeholder meetings, and project documentation throughout the project lifecycleSupport commissioning, turnover, and project closeout activities, ensuring all systems and deliverables meet contract requirementsQualifications8+ years of civil construction experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager for a General Contractor is requiredCompletion of post-secondary education in civil engineering or a related field is requiredProfessional Engineer license in the Province of Ontario is an assetPrevious experience delivering station projects, transit facilities, or passenger transportation infrastructure is strongly preferredExperience working on GO Transit, Metrolinx, or other rail transit projects is highly regarded and preferredStrong knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, and MEP construction activities and coordination requirementsExperience working within active rail corridors and a thorough understanding of rail corridor requirements, permits, and work planning processesProven ability to manage multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and client stakeholdersDemonstrated success delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining quality standardsStrong understanding of contract administration, change management, scheduling, quantity tracking, and project controlsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and other construction management software, along with excellent communication, leadership,



and organizational skillsMust possess a valid provincial driver's licenseWorking ConditionsSite-based position in Oshawa, OntarioFrequent interaction with project stakeholders, subcontractors, and field personnelOccasional work in active rail corridor and construction environmentsCompensation$114,750.00 - $153,000.00This is the expected base pay range for this role.
