MLP Painting & Construction LTD. is looking for an experienced Painting Contractor to lead and complete residential and commercial painting projects. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality results.
Hourly Wage: $37.00
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
On the road: Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.

Responsibilities
- Prepare production and other reports
- Supervise workers and projects
- Co‑ordinate and schedule activities
- Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
- Train or arrange for training
- Manage own company
- Estimate costs and materials
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Recommend personnel actions
- Read blueprints and drawings
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
- Leading/instructing individuals
The work is primarily conducted outdoors in a construction and residential setting, where employees are regularly exposed to noisy, dusty conditions and are required to work at heights. The position involves supervising a team of 5 to 10 workers while maintaining productivity and safety standards under pressure. Successful candidates should possess excellent oral communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and demonstrate reliability and teamwork in a fast-paced work workplace.
