Job DescriptionReporting to the Vice President, Strategy & Performance, the Manager, Strategy & Performance will sit within Extendicare's Office of the CEO – a high‐visibility team in a rapid‐growing, publicly traded seniors health care company. This hand‐on role is for an analytically sharp, independently driven professional ready to work at the intersection of strategy and execution: developing executive‐level materials, driving cross‐functional initiatives, and supporting the performance management infrastructure that keeps Extendicare's leadership aligned on what matters most.This position will be based at our Head Office in Markham, Ontario. Extendicare offers a hybrid working environment.Key responsibilitiesDrive cross‐functional strategic initiatives from the Office of the CEO, coordinating across business lines and corporate functions to advance Extendicare's most critical prioritiesDevelop high‐quality materials for the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, Board of Directors, and external audiences – including strategy decks and CEO briefingsConduct research, financial analysis, and structured problem‐solving to support strategic planning, business case development, and executive decision‐makingSupport corporate performance management, including KPI tracking, balanced scorecard reporting, and initiative progress monitoringContribute to the annual strategic planning cycle, including executive goal‐setting frameworksManage multiple concurrent project workstreams, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring accountability to timelines and deliverablesLeverage data, analytics, and AI‐assisted approaches to strengthen the quality and efficiency of strategic outputsSupport internal and external communications on behalf of the Office of the CEO,



including leadership presentations and stakeholder‐facing contentBuild and maintain strong cross‐functional relationships across the organization to enable alignment and advance key prioritiesComplete other duties as assignedWhat you bring to the rolePost‐secondary education in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline; MBA is an asset2‐4 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or a related analytical roleExceptional analytical and quantitative skills – able to synthesize complex information into clear, executive‐ready insightsAdvanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; comfort with data analysis, visualization, and reporting toolsFamiliarity with AI tools (e.G.
