This role ensures the entire technology stack, including cloud services, is designed efficiently, securely, and cost‐effectively to support the company's growth, often bridging the gap between technical execution and business strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: Define and execute technology roadmaps, aligning IT Infrastructure with business objectives.Cloud & Infrastructure Platform Delivery: Oversee design of global cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure, SRE,



and network operations for high availability.Oversee the structure of the infrastructure as code (e.G., Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm) and ensure the CI/CD pipelines, build environments, and monitoring systems are built to maximize developer productivity and deployment quality.Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage high‐performing technology teams.Budget & Finance: Manage large IT budgets, control costs, optimize technology spending.Security & Compliance: Implement robust cybersecurity, data protection, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards (FSRA, ISO27001 and others as applicable).Innovation: Champion emerging tech like AI/ML, support digital transformation, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.Policy Management: Contribute to IT policy management process, ensuring consideration for infrastructure, cloud and security best practices.Stakeholder Management: Partner with business leaders to understand needs and ensure tech delivers value.Operations Excellence: Optimize ITIL processes (incident, change, problem) and ensure reliable service delivery.Perform additional duties as assigned.Required SkillsComputer Science Diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of experience managing infrastructure teams.Exposure to ITIL concepts and adoption, certification desired.Foundational knowledge in IT frameworks such as ISO27001, ITIL, COBIT, NIST, etc.Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), DevOps, SRE, networking,



and cybersecurity.Experience managing IT Infrastructure and/or IT Operations Teams in a highly available complex infrastructure with 24/7 availability and support. Deep experience with employee enablement tools including Microsoft suite of employee enablement products such as 365, Entra, Teams and others.Experienced with regulatory compliance, as well as best practices in application and network security.Proficient in the following areas: project management, strategic planning, change management, successful management of large‐scale projects, advocacy of critical business requirements, and enabling business process improvements and culture change.Datacenter management and migrations.Aware of and mitigate enterprise risk factors and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, legislation and FirstOntario policies and procedures.Proven experience in large‐scale infrastructure management and digital transformation.Strong financial acumen for budgeting and ROI analysis.Excellent leadership, communication, and cross‐functional collaboration skills.Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their business application.Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as the job demands and travel as required.This role is hybrid in Stoney Creek, ON.This posting is for an existing vacancy.Salary Range: $169,238 to $211,548 annually.Compensation for this role reflects a combination of skills, experience, and internal equity. Those whose experience more closely aligns the role's requirements may be placed higher within the salary range.
