and other public disclosuresOversee accounting policy development, implementation, and interpretation to ensure compliance with evolving accounting standardsPartner with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders to address complex technical accounting mattersDrive process improvements that enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and governance across the finance functionSupport executive leadership and board-level reporting by preparing technical analyses and briefing materialsLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a collaborative and accountable work environmentSkills and Qualifications7+ years of progressive experience in external reporting, technical accounting, or financial reporting environmentsCPA, CA designation requiredStrong knowledge of US GAAP, with working knowledge of IFRS and complex accounting mattersExperience within public company reporting environments, including regulatory filing requirementsPrevious experience within a public accounting firm, preferably with exposure to large and complex organizationsProven ability to research, analyze, and communicate complex accounting issues to diverse stakeholdersStrong leadership, relationship-building, and team development skillsNote from the Hiring ManagerWe're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex accounting challenges, building strong relationships across the business, and helping develop a high-performing team.
