We believe that human progress is invaluable, but it should be done in the right way – responsibly, sustainably and having a positive impact on the communities we operate in.Job DescriptionThe Data Center Site Manager will lead all day-to-day operations and serve as the technical authority on site, responsible for understanding how critical systems work together and ensuring teams operate them to standard.This is not a hands-on engineering role, but it does require sufficient technical depth to:Make informed operational decisionsChallenge and guide technical teams and vendorsLead incident response and root-cause analysisEnsure maintenance and operational practices align with system design, risk tolerances, and SLAThe role balances technical oversight, people leadership, safety, and communication across the site and in a leadership capacity. While direct data center experience is beneficial, we are equally open to leaders from mission-critical environments such as oil & gas, hospitals, utilities, or industrial facilities.Job ResponsibilitiesSite & Technical LeadershipAct as the senior technical and operational leader for the site's 24/7 operationsProvide clear direction to technical, cloud support, electrical, mechanical and maintenance teamsTranslate technical issues into operational and business impacts for leadershipServe as the escalation point for complex technical and infrastructure issuesWorking with the project team, support the expansion of the facilityCritical Infrastructure OversightOversee the operation of electrical and mechanical infrastructure,



including:Power distribution and backup systemsCooling and environmental systemsBuilding management and monitoring systemsEnsure infrastructure operates within design parameters, risk tolerances and SLA requirementsReview and approve maintenance strategies, procedures, and schedulesLead technical readiness for equipment installs, upgrades, and capacity changesIncident Management & RiskLead site-level response to technical incidents, outages, or abnormal conditionsDirect root-cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are implementedIdentify systemic risks and reliability concerns across infrastructure and operationsEnsure lessons learned are captured and sharedPeople Leadership & CultureLead, coach, and develop multi-disciplinary technical and facilities teamsPromote a strong culture of technical excellence, safety, accountability, and teamworkAct as the face of the site, setting expectations through visible leadershipEnsure clear shift coverage and operational ownershipSafety, Compliance & GovernanceOperate within environments with strong safety and regulatory requirementsEnsure safe work practices across all site technical, electrical and mechanical operationsSupport compliance audits, inspections, and internal governance standardsChampion safety leadership (without being a dedicated Safety Officer)Communication & ReportingProvide structured reporting on:Site performance and uptimeMaintenance activities and risksTechnical issues and incident trendsCommunicate clearly with regional leadership and technical stakeholdersEnsure operational documentation and procedures remain accurate and currentJob RequirementsRequiredExperience leading operations in mission-critical or industrial environments (data centers, oil & gas, utilities, hospitals, manufacturing,
