OpportunityNorthern Health - BC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Emergency Department team at Kitimat Regional Hospital. This dynamic role involves providing emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast‐paced, team‐oriented environment.The NP will manage CTAS 4 and 5 cases independently, assist with CTAS 1 and 2 cases, and occasionally manage CTAS 3 cases. The position is supported by telemedicine tools and offers versatile scheduling.Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently assess and manage CTAS 4 and 5 patients.Occasionally manage CTAS 3 cases and assist with CTAS 1 and 2 cases.Collaborate with physicians and emergency department nurses to deliver high‐quality emergency care.Utilize PowerChart or paper‐based documentation systems.Engage with virtual services to support emergency care delivery.Contribute to a team‐based approach to emergency medicine.QualificationsAdvanced certifications required: ACLS, PALS, ATLS,
