The Senior Quantity Surveyor plays a key role in the commercial management of major infrastructure works within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. This position is responsible for cost planning, contract administration, change management, and financial reporting across the full project lifecycle, supporting the delivery of sub-programs such as Airfield Civil & Electrical, Interim Infrastructure, GHG, and Priority Projects.Working within a progressive design-build environment, the Senior QS ensures accurate cost control, proactive risk management, and alignment with target price objectives, while supporting collaborative decision‐making across design, construction, and commercial teams.ResponsibilitiesLead cost planning, estimating, and budgeting activities across assigned projects or sub-programsManage and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with commercial terms and conditionsMonitor project costs, forecasts, and cash flow, identifying risks and opportunities proactivelyPrepare, review, and negotiate change orders, variations, and claimsSupport development and validation of Target Price in a progressive design-build environmentConduct detailed cost analysis and provide recommendations to optimize value and reduce riskCollaborate with design, construction, and procurement teams to align cost, scope, and scheduleManage subcontractor commercial processes including procurement support, valuations, and final accountsPrepare and present commercial reports, including cost-to-complete, variance analysis,
