We're seeking Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technicians to maintain the diverse fleet of mining equipment across our four mining operations.About the RoleAs a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician at EVR, you'll work on large-scale mobile mining equipment, performing preventive maintenance, major repairs, troubleshooting, and diagnostics. and othersMinimum RequirementsValid Interprovincial Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or equivalentValid driver's licensePreferred ExperienceExperience working with off-road heavy equipmentBackground in mining, construction, agriculture, forestry, oil & gas, or other heavy-industry environmentsDiesel engine experience considered for candidates looking to transition into off-road workWork LocationThe position is site-based at EVR operations in the Elk Valley. Ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, BC is necessary. EVR offers temporary housing support as follows:EVR Rental Units: Company-owned rental units available to new hires for short-term transition support (subject to availability)Elk Valley Lodge: Employees may have the option to rent a room at the Elk Valley Lodge in Elkford (subject to availability)Community Rental List: EVR maintains a list of community-owned rental accommodations to assist with your housing searchSalary Range$128,000 – $134,000 CAD / YearSalary DescriptionBase earnings reflected in the salary range include the hourly wage plus applicable shift premiums and will differ depending on location.
