Job DetailsUnion: CUPE TGNumber of vacancies: 1New or Replacement Position: ReplacementSite: Toronto General HospitalDepartment: Nutrition ServicesReports to: Manager, Nutrition ServicesHours: Up to 24 hours per weekWage Range: $27.76 - $28.58 per hour (start rate non‐negotiable)Shifts: 0630-2130 Monday-Sunday, including alternating weekends and statutory holidaysStatus: Permanent Part-TimeClosing Date: July 23, 2026DutiesAs an integral member of the Nutrition Department, the principal responsibilities of the Nutrition Aide, Cold Food Assembly include:Assembling meals on the cold assembly belt line, as per meal ticket requestRetrieving, stocking and setting up food items and supplies at workstationsDisassembling, cleaning and maintaining workstation and belt line areaTransporting carts to receiving and elevators/unitsPerforming cross‐functional duties as assigned and/or requiredPerforming other duties consistent with the job classification, as requiredQualificationsCompletion of high school or recognized equivalentFood Handler's/Hygiene Certificate (on the job certification provided)3 months to less than 6 months practical and related experience and/or 1 month to less than 3 months on‐the‐job trainingAbility to read, write and speak EnglishAbility to read/understand verbal work orders, instructions, short notes and/or brief formsAbility to perform simple mathematical calculations (e.G., adding, subtracting, multiplying,
