At Traine and Mainline Living, we are passionate about continuous improvement, career development, and giving back to the communities we serve.Traine is looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to take the lead on our wood-frame multifamily projects, from excavation through to building handover. If you thrive on solving problems in the field, know how to run a tight, safe site, and can rally trade partners around a schedule, we want to hear from you.As Site Superintendent, you'll own all construction activity on site — supervising crews, enforcing safety and quality standards, and coordinating trades, suppliers, and city officials to keep the project moving. You'll work closely with the Project Manager on schedule, budget, and procurement, and act as the day-to-day decision-maker in the field.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all on-site activity, ensuring the project is built safely, on time, and efficientlyManage site information flow — RFIs, ASIs, SSIs, ESIs, MSIs, and related documentationCollaborate with the project manager, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders on project specsBuild strong working relationships with City Officials and other external partiesChair weekly trade meetings and support monthly site meetings with the development teamCreate, monitor, and maintain the project schedule and lookahead schedules with the PMSupport monthly budget updates and track job costsReview blueprints, shop drawings, and construction documents to catch conflicts earlyCoordinate and supervise trade partners, suppliers, and vendorsConduct regular site walkthroughs to confirm work meets drawings, code, and Traine standardsSet up the job site office and track rented and company-owned equipmentMentor field staff and manage assistant supers, foremen,
