Serve as primary contact between Dedert and customer's designated representatives. Coordinate the efforts of the Lead Designer and Process Engineer assigned to his projects.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Monitors schedule and all tasks to ensure projects are performed on timeWrites equipment specifications and coordinates with process engineer to ensure accuracyAssists purchasing department in negotiations with suppliersPrepares Purchase Order RequisitionsWorks with Design Department and answers all questions on equipment specificationsReviews internal and external drawings to ensure equipment meets correct specificationsEnsures that Quality Assurance Inspector performs inspections of the fabricated and purchased equipmentMaintains Project Control Chart and tracks all costs to maximize profit marginsMaintains Electronic Project filesEnsures timely invoicing to Customers to maximize cash flowApproves suppliers' invoicesCollects all Spare Parts prices in conjunction with the purchasing departmentCollects all documentations required for the projectPrepares Operating and Maintenance ManualsREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SILLS AND ABILITIES:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum ten years' experience in a Project Engineering field of large industrial evaporator and dryer systemsFabrication and welding techniques including associated quality expectationsGood computer skills, including proficiency with Excel and WordGood interpersonal skillsExcellent communications skills both in English and FrenchAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability. #J-18808-Ljbffr
