Modern clinic, EMR and congenial colleagues. ER and Obstetrics are available but not essential. Inpatient care and long-term care are provided by the community of family physicians and supported by call group coverage, as well as hospital privileges at Shuswap Lake General Hospital.Shuswap Lake General Hospital is a 40-bed Level 2 Community Hospital serving a referral population of 60,000. This hospital offers a 24-hour Emergency Department, laboratory and radiology, surgical, inpatient, ambulatory and outpatient care and obstetrical care. Additional features include operating rooms, CT, Echocardiograph, Level 2 ICU and visiting clinics that include orthopedics, urology, obstetrics/gynecology and pediatrics.
