We're large enough to compete head‐to‐head with publicly traded engineering giants, but still small enough to maintain the culture and flexibility of a close‐knit team.Our size and hands‐on management style let us move quickly, embrace new opportunities, and empower our people to shape their own careers—without getting lost in corporate bureaucracy.You're a strong fit if you:Bring sharp attention to detailTackle environmental challenges with practical, solutions‐oriented thinkingTake initiative and drive projects forward independentlyApproach each assignment with a sense of ownership and prideAdapt quickly when conditions or project needs changeA typical day on the job might look like:Providing consulting services as an Environmental Professional in contaminated sites management for government and private sector clients.Applying scientific and engineering principles to multi‐disciplinary environmental projects.Managing and completing contaminated sites projects, including Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments, remediation programs, risk assessments,



and environmental compliance monitoring.Preparing and reviewing proposals and technical reports.Collaborating with our Environmental Team and other GEMTEC service lines to design and deliver projects of varying sizes and complexities.Evaluating team needs and contributing to the growth and development of our Environmental Team.The good stuff you get:Full‐time (37.5 hours per week)Complete health & dental coverage including vision, paramedical services, Teladoc and Employee & Family Assistance Program when you need itRetirement planning made easier with a 5% employer match on your contributionsPaid time off (vacation and sick days) and an office year‐end closure (paid time off between Christmas and the Current Year)Your background and what you bring:A minimum of an undergraduate degree in a related field.A Registered Professional designation (e.G., P.Eng., P.Geo.) in Canada, with at least 12 years of experience in managing contaminated sites.A thorough understanding of provincial and federal regulations related to contaminated site management.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Experience in preparing technical and cost proposals.Field program management, including resource and budget oversight.Ability to build business relationships with clients, regulators, and subcontractors.Experience with federal government clients is an asset.Technical experience in hydrogeology and/or environmental risk assessment is a plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel.Should you be selected for an interview and require accommodation of any kind, please kindly help us understand how we can help. #J-18808-Ljbffr
