You will partner across product, technology, operations and business teams to embed compliance into a modern digital banking platform, while driving innovation through automation, AI and regtech solutions. This role is ideal for a strategic, forward‐thinking compliance leader with deep regulatory expertise, digital banking experience, and the ability to influence cross‐functional stakeholders in a rapidly evolving setting.This is a Full‐time, Permanent role based at our Vancity head office and will report directly to the VP, Enterprise Regulatory Compliance. While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on‐site for events and business demands.How You'll Make an Impact:Leading the development of regulatory compliance strategy for digital banking initiatives aligned with OSFI and FCAC requirementsTranslating regulatory requirements into scalable business, product and technology design solutionsServing as a subject matter expert on prudential and consumer protection expectations in digital banking and fintech environmentsPartnering with product,
technology, operations and legal teams to embed compliance into the operating model and platform designSupporting regulator engagement activities including preparation, interpretation alignment and response coordinationIdentifying and implementing innovative, technology‐enabled solutions including AI, automation and regtech toolsDriving compliance scalability, monitoring and execution through modernized processes and systemsInfluencing cross‐functional stakeholders to ensure alignment between regulatory expectations and business outcomesWhat You'll Bring to the Team:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, Risk Management or a related field8+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management or financial services with exposure to digital banking or fintechStrong knowledge of OSFI and FCAC regulatory frameworks and prudential/consumer protection requirementsExperience translating regulatory requirements into business, product or technology solutionsProven ability to lead cross‐functional initiatives across product, technology and operations teamsExperience engaging with regulators or supporting regulatory examinations and discussionsStrong analytical and problem‐solving skills with a focus on innovation and continuous improvementExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior levelsExtra Skills That Set You Apart:Experience working on digital challenger bank or large‐scale digital transformation initiativesFamiliarity with AI, automation or regtech solutions applied to compliance and risk managementProfessional designations such as CPA, CAMS,

The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience and internal equity.
