Reporting to the Vice‐President, Legal Affairs, you will be a trusted advisor and thought partner to business leaders, providing legal expertise and pragmatic commercial insight to deliver strategic outcomes.Key AccountabilitiesProvide strategic legal support to Intact Investment Management on investment activities and transactions (acquisitions/dispositions, fund subscriptions, trading arrangements, etc.).Oversee advice on securities regulation and compliance, maintaining a proactive regulatory watch and translating developments into practical guidance.Provide lead legal support on financing and treasury‐related transactions and activities.Own and oversee continuous public disclosure obligations (including ESG).Identify and assess legal, strategic, and reputational risk, distill the "so what" for Intact, and develop pragmatic solutions aligned with business priorities.Leadership & Business ImpactLead, inspire, mentor, and develop a high‐performing team of legal professionals, providing regular feedback, coaching, and clear priorities.Ensure consistent standards of excellence in service, responsiveness, risk management,



and execution quality.Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence decision‐making through transparent, business‐focused advice.Act as the project owner for select material initiatives, requiring strong project management to coordinate multi‐disciplinary stakeholders and deliver results.QualificationsBachelor of Laws / Juris Doctor and admission to the Bar of Québec, Ontario, or another Canadian province.10+ years of relevant legal experience in increasingly senior roles, gained in a law firm and/or in‐house environment.Experience in investment management, corporate/securities law, and public‐company disclosure obligations.Proven people leadership experience, including developing and engaging teams, building a collaborative, high‐accountability culture.Strong judgement and ability to analyze legal, strategic, and business risk, communicate clear recommendations, and drive execution.Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, comfortable operating in high‐stakes and time‐sensitive situations.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate multi‐disciplinary projects in a fast‐paced environment.Demonstrated alignment with Intact's Leadership Success Factors: Living Intact's Values, Caring for people, Being open and honest, Taking accountability, and Driving change.Bilingual (French/English) required.Equal Opportunity EmployerWe are an equal opportunity employer.
