We AIM for excellence.Job DescriptionPart of AIM Aviation, private transport division of American Iron & Metal, we are seeking a highly skilled and versatile professional to join our team in a unique dual-capacity position. As our Corporate Helicopter Pilot, you will serve as the trusted operator of our Airbus AS350 B3 (AStar) throughout the flight season — covering a radius of 400 to 500 km around Montréal.This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced pilot who values flexibility, discretion, and a long-term professional partnership with a dynamic, engaged company.Ce poste est ouvert aux candidats bilingues. L'anglais est la langue principale de travail.Key ResponsibilitiesHelicopter Operations — Estimated from May to OctoberSafely operate the Airbus AS350 B3 (AStar) for executive and company missions within a 400–500 km radius of MontréalCo-pilot alongside the company owner,



fostering a collaborative and professional flight environmentProvide in‐flight mentorship and training to pilots (Owner's grandson) building flight hoursConduct pre‐flight and post‐flight inspections, safety checks, and coordinate maintenance as requiredFile flight plans, monitor weather conditions, and manage all flight documentation in full compliance with Transport Canada regulationsRemain on‐call 7 days a week throughout the summer season, with flexibility for short‐notice departures (no night flights required)Maintain currency of all licenses, ratings, and medical certifications at all timesThis position may be structured as a shared pilot arrangement, with two pilots covering operational requirements.Qualifications & RequirementsRequiredValid Transport Canada Commercial Pilot Licence – Helicopter (CPL-H) or ATPL-HExtensive experience on the Airbus AS350 B3 (AStar) – type rating requiredValid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical CertificateMinimum experience requirements are; 3,000 hours total helicopter time of which 1,500 hours are on turbine helicopters, and 100 hours on make and model and no lossesProven experience as pilot-in-command and/or co-pilot for executive or charter operationsDemonstrated ability to provide flight training and mentoring to lower‐hour pilotsValid Québec driver's license (Class 5 minimum)
