Employee Relations Manager (NHS)Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per hourLocation: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite / 2-3 days remote)Contract: 3 MonthsHours: Full Time, Monday to FridayOverviewWe are recruiting an experienced Employee Relations Manager to support the delivery of high-quality employee relations services in a busy NHS organisation during a period of change.Key ResponsibilitiesLead on a wide range of complex employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, capability, sickness absence and performance management.Provide expert HR advice and guidance to senior managers and clinical leaders.Support organisational change, workforce planning and service improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with employment legislation, NHS policies and best practice.Build strong relationships with managers, trade unions and key stakeholders.Coach and develop managers to improve people management capability.About YouRecent and relevant NHS Employee Relations experience.Experience working within an NHS Trust (Acute Trust experience highly desirable).CIPD qualification (or equivalent).Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and NHS HR policies.Proven experience managing complex ER cases from start to finish.Strong stakeholder management,
influencing and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently while managing a varied and demanding workload.What's on Offer3‑month initial contract with the potential for extension.Hybrid working (2-3 days onsite, with flexibility after induction).Full‑time, Monday to Friday.Opportunity to make an immediate impact within a supportive NHS team.Due to the nature of this role, applicants must have recent NHS Employee Relations experience.
