Position Overview Finning is seeking a solution focused Parts Journeyperson (Red Seal) to join our dynamic team based at Tumbler Ridge on a 14 x 14 days/nights shift rotation. OT paid at double time Share purchase options (with matching) and employer paid pension 100% employer paid medical and dental advantages CAT certified training: Additional certifications and skill development paid for by Finning Job Description Duties and Responsibilities Support all parts functions including parts sales, sourcing and ordering used parts; inventory control Develop and maintain customer relationships through front counter sales and shop parts sales Pull customer and branch parts orders, process parts credits and core inspections Sort and bin incoming stock, pack and label parts orders for shipment Participate in parts related special projects and assignments, call quality and performance initiatives as required; support and engage in all health and safety related activities Support in all employee experience survey (ESS) and net promoter score (NPS) activities NEP sourcing of CAT and non-CAT parts Hydraulic hose building Procurement of non-CAT parts Managing backordered parts Qualifications Journeyperson Parts Certification (Red Seal) coupled with previous parts, warehouse, front counter, sales experience and Caterpillar product knowledge Driver’s Abstract (5 year) Knowledge in expanded mining considered an asset A high performance,



positive attitude and ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships Clearly demonstrate enthusiasm about work and must be able to function effectively and purposefully in a dynamic environment Ability to deal with difficult situations and potentially unhappy customers Capable of working with minimal supervision Computer literacy with applicable software knowledge along with shop parts experience Experience with SIS, AIMS, Antares, SIMSi, InfoCast, Lawson M3, Landmark Smart Office, M3 Sales Automation and the MS Office Package considered assets Industry experience in mining, heavy construction and technology products considered strong assets Important Details This is a site-based position located at Quintet Mine/Tumbler Ridge on a 14 x 14 days/nights shift rotation Marshalling point is Tumbler Ridge, BC A condition of employment is the ability to obtain customer site access including drug & alcohol testing and may include a physical assessment Union membership required. Membership will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from pay. Terms governed by the collective agreement.
