These building blocks are essential to moving forward as a growth-focused, insights-driven, consumer-led company that will celebrate food and the central part that food plays in our life.Location:203 58 Ave SE, Calgary, AB T2H 0N9Full-time Shift:Afternoon/Night (Rotates every 4 weeks) – Continental (10 – 12-hour shifts)Licensed Millwright Wage:$46.37 plus bonus and $1.50 night shift premium, overtime available + quarterly bonus payPosition:Maintenance MillwrightThe Millwright is a member of the maintenance team and as such, participates in team efforts to achieve assigned department goals; works closely with other team members to ensure all maintenance activities are completed on time,
according to SOPs and regulatory requirements; and provides support toother roles within the maintenance team.Your primary responsibilities include performing maintenance, install, examine, replace or repair components; troubleshoot mechanicalsystems and building services. In addition, you will provide technical support to production teams in supporting production uptime, ensuring optimal functioning of the production equipment and facilities. This position provides critical support in reducing production downtime, maintaining overhaul programs, preventive maintenance of equipment, and effective troubleshooting and repair of equipment. hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Inspect and examine equipment to identify irregularities and malfunctions.Adjust equipment and repair/replace defective components.Operate tools such as lathes and milling machines to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of equipment.Assemble equipment prior to installation using hand/power tools and welding equipment.Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize equipment safety, efficiency and reliability.Complete Work Orders according to PM and CM schedules.Comply with all applicable legislative and Bakery food safety, health and safety and environmental policies and procedures.Ensure that work area is clean of debris and hazards at all times.Work in a safe manner in accordance with provincial and internal LOTO policy.Perform other related duties as assigned or required.RequirementsTicketed in the Millwright Trade.Minimum 3 years' experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment (Food manufacturing is highly preferred).High aptitude with Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems (Required).Proven track record working with Lathes, Milling Machines and Welding Equipment (ARC, TIG, MIG).Above average problem-solving skills.Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs.Thrives in a team environment.Robust verbal and written communication skills.Basic knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Excel, Outlook).Focuses on continuous self-improvement.Job Details:Must be available to work Weekends and Overtime as neededFast-paced working environmentHigh Emphasis on TeamworkContinuous Improvement MindsetManufacturing Equipment TroubleshootingPreventative MaintenanceCorrective MaintenanceFacility (Building) MaintenanceFabrication/Welding/MachiningPrevious Food Manufacturing Experience – An AssetElectrical Knowledge – An Asset #J-18808-Ljbffr
