What you'll do

- Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions that meet the evolving needs of the organization and its clients.
- Lead a team of IT professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with IT systems, enhancing overall functionality and user experience.
- Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Manage and oversee the deployment of recent technologies, ensuring that they align with business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular assessments of system security,



implementing necessary measures to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and manage budgets for IT infrastructure projects, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and within financial constraints.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff to enhance their understanding of IT systems and promote best practices in technology usage.
- Act as a point of contact for escalated technical issues, providing expert guidance and support to resolve complex challenges.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organization and recommending strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure that IT services and solutions meet organizational needs and performance expectations.

Requirements

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems engineering, with a strong focus on infrastructure design and management.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of IT professionals.
- In‑depth knowledge of network architecture, server management, and cloud computing technologies.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, with experience in implementing security measures.




- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools to streamline processes and enhance system performance.
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, and experience in applying best practices in service delivery.

Nice to have

- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, facilitating collaboration between development and operations teams.
- Knowledge of database management systems and data analytics tools to support data‑driven decision‑making.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI‑DSS, and experience in ensuring organizational adherence.

Skills & tools

- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, with experience in leading IT projects from conception to completion.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies and containerization tools, such as VMware or Docker.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools to track system performance and identify areas for improvement.
