About the Chance- Responsible for full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance- Process bi-weekly payroll, including adjustments, remittances, year-end reporting, and payroll-related journal entries- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with employment standards and applicable agreements- Manage accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, payment processing, and vendor support- Oversee accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment application, aging reports, and reconciliations- Administer resident trust accounts in accordance with regulatory requirements, including deposits, withdrawals, and monthly reconciliations- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, schedules, and variance analysis- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audit preparation, and regulatory reporting requirements- Maintain strong internal controls, documentation,
and compliance standards- Support process improvements and contribute to special projects as requiredAbout You- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field- Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) certification or working toward (asset)- Experience with payroll systems (e.G., ADP or similar) considered an asset- Familiarity with unionized environments and collective agreements is an asset- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical thinking- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment- Strong communication and collaboration skills- Must reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in CanadaSalary Range$70,000 - $75,000 /year#J-18808-Ljbffr
