OverviewIn the role of Environmental Director, you will develop, implement and monitor the environmental plans and procedures on a major transportation infrastructure project. A seasoned advisor in the construction industry, you will leverage your experience in preparing complex permitting applications and deep knowledge of local environmental regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate potential environmental liabilities.What you will be doingDevelops, implements and monitors environmental procedures and plans that meet the Project's environmental compliance requirementsAdvises Project team on proper interpretation and implementation of environmental regulations and specificationsLeads impact assessments to identify, assess and reduce the project's environmental risks and financial costsLeads permitting and regulatory reviews of major Project works and milestonesOversees the environmental quality management system and auditing processDocuments, analyzes and reports the Project's environmental performance to stakeholders and applicable regulatory bodiesAdvises construction team on environmental hazards and procedures to minimize adverse environmental effectsPerform additional assignments per management's directionCoordinates external consultants,
