McCormick Canada is part of the world leader in spice and seasonings, McCormick & Company Inc.SCOPE OF THE ROLEReporting to the Finance Director, the Senior Finance Manager – Supply Chain Finance will support the Canadian Supply Chain organization by providing financial leadership, analysis, and decision support across Manufacturing, Procurement, Distribution, Inventory, Planning, and Logistics. This role is responsible for partnering closely with Supply Chain leadership to drive financial performance, support productivity initiatives, optimize costs, and provide insights that enable effective business decisions. The Senior Finance Manager will lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis activities for the Supply Chain function while ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and compliance with corporate policies and procedures. The role will also collaborate cross‐functionally with Commercial Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Corporate Finance teams to support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.Main ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain Finance Business PartnershipPartner with Supply Chain leadership to support operational and financial objectivesProvide financial analysis and insights to support cost optimization and productivity initiativesSupport business cases and financial evaluations for capital projects and strategic investmentsParticipate in cross‐functional initiatives focused on cost savings, process improvements,
and operational efficienciesCollaborate with the site controller in Canada and in other locationsSupport inventory management and working capital initiativesBudgeting, Forecasting & Financial ReportingLead Supply Chain budgeting, forecasting, and long‐term planning activitiesAnalyze monthly financial results and explain variances versus budget, forecast, and prior yearSupport monthly close activities and ensure timely and accurate financial reportingIdentify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to leadershipPrepare and present financial results and insights to Supply Chain and Finance leadership teamsCost Management & Financial AnalysisMonitor manufacturing and logistics cost performancePerform detailed cost and variance analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesSupport cost accounting processes and inventory controlsAssist with financial modelling and analysis to support operational decision‐makingControls & Process ImprovementEnsure compliance with corporate financial policies and internal controlsSupport internal and external audit requirementsIdentify opportunities to improve reporting, automation,
and financial processesCollaborate cross‐functionally to simplify and standardize processes where appropriateTeam Leadership & CollaborationProvide guidance and support to analysts and finance team membersFoster strong collaboration across Finance and Supply Chain teamsContribute to team development and a culture of continuous improvementSystems & Project SupportSupport ERP, reporting, and system enhancement initiatives as requiredCANDIDATE PROFILEUniversity degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field7+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably within Supply Chain, Operations, or Manufacturing FinanceStrong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and cost accounting principlesExperience supporting budgeting and month‐end close processesStrong analytical and problem‐solving skillsExperience working in a cross‐functional business environmentAdvanced Excel skills requiredExperience with SAP, TM1, Power BI, or similar financial systems preferredStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsIn the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $112,030-$162,030. Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick's Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
