This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Superintendent to join a cooperative team, oversee impactful projects, and play a key leadership role in driving successful site operations. The Role Our client is seeking a Superintendent to take full ownership of on-site project delivery from mobilisation through completion. This leadership position will be responsible for managing daily construction activities, coordinating subcontractors and trades, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are achieved. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, clients, architects, and engineers while overseeing multiple aspects of project execution and driving a culture of accountability and excellence across the job site. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all day-to-day construction activities on site. Coordinate subcontractors, tradespeople, suppliers, and site personnel. Review plans, specifications, submittals, and project documentation before mobilisation. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are achieved on time. Identify and resolve field issues, schedule conflicts, and construction challenges. Manage site logistics, material deliveries, equipment,
and workforce planning. Maintain strong communication with clients, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders. Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure quality expectations are consistently met. Conduct site inspections and implement QA/QC procedures throughout project execution. Enforce OSHA standards, company safety policies, and industry best practices. Lead site safety meetings and promote a culture of safety and accountability. Maintain accurate daily reports, project documentation, and progress updates. Partner with project management teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of construction experience. At least 1 year of experience in a Superintendent or supervisory role. Experience managing commercial construction, restoration, or exterior envelope projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes. Familiarity with Procore or similar construction management software. Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and job-site safety requirements. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications,
and construction drawings. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
