Overview

As a Senior Manager on PwC’s Transformation Risk & Advisory team, you will lead the tooling strategy for large transformation programs, focusing on Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and the Power Platform. You will design, configure, govern, and scale PMO tooling, reporting, and workflow automation to partner with program leadership, ensuring consistent delivery processes, high‑quality data, and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

- Lead a blended/onshore‑offshore team to design, build, and support PMO tooling solutions (dashboards, Power Apps, workflow automation, and emerging AI capabilities) across large transformation programs.
- Own the Jira platform for program delivery—configuration and administration of projects, workflows, screens, fields, permissions, issue types, and automations aligned to the operating model.
- Define reporting and insight needs with senior executives and translate them into intuitive, automated dashboards and governance packs (status, RAID, dependencies, milestones, capacity, and financials).
- Design and implement data standards and controls for PMO tooling (taxonomy, mandatory fields, quality checks, auditability) to improve reliability of program reporting.
- Lead financial reporting and tracking approaches within the program toolset, including forecasting, actuals tracking, and executive‑level financial insights for a C‑suite audience.
- Design and implement program governance and program management strategies, including cadence, decision forums, escalation paths, and standard templates.
- Stand up and evolve PMO capabilities such as benefits realization, quality assurance, decision management, document management, and integrated planning—enabled through fit‑for‑purpose tooling.
- Drive integrations and automation across platforms (e.g., Jira–Confluence–ADO–Power Platform) to reduce manual effort and improve end‑to‑end traceability.

- Develop and execute tool rollout, training, and adoption plans; coach delivery teams on best practices and ways of working.
- Partner with client and firm stakeholders to gather evidence, assess program maturity, recommend improvements, and create measurable outcomes.
- Lead proposal responses and support business development by articulating tooling‑enabled delivery approaches and solution architectures to senior client leaders.
- Stay abreast of key industry developments in transformation delivery tooling, PMO leading practices, and emerging technology trends within Canada and globally.

Qualifications & Experience

- Deep expertise in transformation delivery tooling, including Jira administration/configuration, and familiarity with adjacent platforms such as Confluence, Azure DevOps, and the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Solid ability to design automations, reporting solutions, and practical AI‑enabled accelerators.
- Experience in transformation implementation and program delivery, including leading large, complex system and/or transformation initiatives.
- Experience designing and standing up PMOs, including governance, reporting, cadence, and operational processes to manage delivery.
- Proficiency in performing project/program assessments, health checks, and gateway reviews, and translating findings into practical improvements.
- Experience managing PMO/tooling teams to deliver functions aligned to the designed governance and management controls.

- End‑to‑end delivery experience across enterprise systems and major transformations (e.g., operating model change, re‑organization, large‑scale technology‑enabled programs).
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and dashboarding/reporting solutions to enable automated PMO insights.
- Project/Program Management certification(s) (e.g., PMI PMP/PMBOK, PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, MoR, Benefits Realization) is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and delivery methods (Agile/Waterfall/hybrid), governance, quality assurance, and the practical use of tooling to enable controls and transparency.
- Prior consulting experience with demonstrated ability to lead workstreams, manage stakeholders, and contribute to the sales cycle.
- A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard.
