At AeroVect, you will work under the Head of Safety, engaging in vital safety lifecycle tasks across software and hardware platforms. You will be tasked with conducting rigorous safety analyses like hazard identification and requirements derivation. Your role is crucial in ensuring that safety requirements are effectively integrated across various engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities: • Perform hazard identification and risk assessments (HARA, FMEA, FTA) • Derive, specify, and trace functional safety requirements (FSRs)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for safety verification • Assist in developing safety case artifacts for deployments • Conduct Quantitative Hardware Safety Analyses and derive HSRs
Requirements: • Minimum 5 years in safety engineering for autonomous vehicles • Experience with hardware reliability and failure rate modeling • Background in ISO 26262, DO-178C, or IEC 61508 • Relevant degree in engineering or related field • Mastery of FIT rate modeling and safety analysis workflows
