Our team delivers projects that improve the quality of life in communities across Canada by providing access to essential services such as healthcare, housing, education, and transit.Our approach goes beyond the project to the people – who are the heart of it all.ResponsibilitiesChampion and personify our values and culture.Have an entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of developing and executing growth plans that lead to annual business growth.Oversee your business unit's operational objectives, including quality, commercial/financial, people, and culture.Drive collaboration, identify opportunities and develop innovative strategies to expand services in the local market to achieve annual growth targets.Collaborate with leaders from other business units to secure new opportunities and optimize resource allocation.Lead with enthusiasm,



delegate and empower teams.Coach your team's business development acumen.Work with all team members to develop and obtain the necessary qualifications, training, and experience to achieve their professional growth.Participate and present a unified company voice within the local business community, through networking, and active participation to help grow the business and recruit the best talent.QualificationsA strong desire to grow the business presence in the local market and meet company growth targets.A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in operations leadership and business unit growth, preferably in professional services.A university degree or diploma in business administration, commerce, finance, engineering, architecture, construction management, or comparable degree (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience).Clear understanding of a professional services business model, including workforce composition and resource management strategies, risk management strategies, and commercial strategies.A network of industry contacts and relationships within the region as well as involvement with applicable regional industry and trade associations.Ability to provide leadership, inspiration, guidance, and management support to a team of practitioners, as they define their career goals, develop their skills, and serve our clients.Ability to meet or exceed financial business objectives.Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation and presentation skills.The ability to project and maintain a positive outlook, demonstrate an energetic disposition, and mentor teams to achieve business growth ambitions.Demonstrated experience working respectfully in cross-cultural settings, including building and maintaining relationships with Indigenous communities considered an asset.Approximate Base Salary Range for Role$114,416 - $153,197 CAD.Base Salary pay ranges are determined by role, level,



and location and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
