As we continue to expand our operations in the Comox Valley , we are looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team in the Courtenay / Comox area .

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience working on commercial, residential, and multi-residential construction projects , including apartments, townhomes, mixed-use developments, and other large-scale electrical projects.

You are a confident electrician with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. You enjoy collaborating with your team and take pride in representing Osprey Electric on every jobsite.

Key Responsibilities

Complete electrical installations, service, maintenance, and troubleshooting across a variety of projects

Perform high-quality electrical work while following all safety standards and regulations

Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications

Collaborate with Foremen, Project Managers, apprentices, and other trades

Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to apprentices learning the trade

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite





Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and project partners

Qualifications

Red Seal Electrician certification or Journeyman Electrician certification

Experience in commercial, residential, and/or multi-residential electrical construction

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and installation practices

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and leadership skills

Reliable, safety-focused, and committed to quality workmanship

Valid driver’s license required
