As the Manager of Employee and Union Relations, you will report to the Executive Director and develop strategies for labor relations. Your responsibilities include guiding leadership, supporting negotiations, and implementing best practices for an inclusive workplace. You’ll work closely with team leaders and engage in evolving labour practices.
Key Responsibilities: • Oversee labour relations and employee relations portfolios • Advise leadership on performance and labour matters • Support negotiations and manage grievances effectively • Monitor workforce trends using data-driven insights • Develop current policies to ensure best practices
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field • 5-7 years of HR experience in a non-profit, unionized environment • CPHR certification is an asset • Experience with HR IS and SharePoint • Criminal record check required
