This lead role is responsible for driving large, complex initiatives tied to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, partnering closely with senior stakeholders, overseeing cross‐domain execution, managing risk, and ensuring successful delivery of strategic outcomes while strengthening overall project delivery maturity.What You'll DoLead end‐to‐end delivery of large, complex enterprise applications M&A programs and other critical initiatives.Define program scope, objectives, milestones, and success measures aligned to enterprise priorities.Coordinate planning and execution across enterprise applications domains (ERP, Finance, HRIS, Workplace Services).Identify, track, and resolve program‐level risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as needed.Establish and maintain governance structures, including executive‐level reporting and communications.Partner with senior leaders and business stakeholders to drive alignment and informed decision‐making.Oversee Day1 readiness, Day2 transition activities, and TSA execution where applicable.Mentor and guide project managers, reinforcing delivery best practices and consistent methodologies.Drive continuous improvement in project execution tools and delivery standards.Ensure compliance with enterprise delivery frameworks and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).Minimum Requirements
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience.



Less years required with a Master's or Doctorate qualification.Critical Skills10+ years of experience leading IT projects or programs in the Enterprise Applications space.Proven experience delivering complex, large‐scale initiatives in enterprise environments.Demonstrated experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or major transformations.Strong working knowledge across core Enterprise Applications domains.Hands‐on experience applying Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery approaches.Additional QualificationsStrong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.Experience leading high‐visibility, cross‐functional programs.Track record of mentoring and developing project managers.Sound judgment and decision‐making in complex or ambiguous situations.Experience using enterprise project and delivery tools (e.G., Planview, Jira).PMP or equivalent preferred; Agile certifications (ScrumMaster, PMI‐ACP, SAFe) a plus.Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive compensation package as part of McKesson's Total Rewards program. Base pay range: $122,100 – $162,800.
