Department: Maintenance Availability: Monday to Sunday, various operational hours and holidays Position Type: Seasonal Report To: Maintenance Supervisor : Wet n Wild Toronto is seeking qualified individuals to fill the position of Maintenance Pool Attendant. As a Pool Maintenance Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and enjoyable aquatic experience for our guests by maintaining the cleanliness of the pools and related areas.
Responsibilities: Pool Surface Maintenance: Remove leaves, debris, and other materials from the surface of pools throughout the day
Maintain clean and explicit pool surfaces to provide an enjoyable guest experience Pool Cleaning: Perform routine pool vacuuming to maintain optimal pool cleanliness
Assist with cleaning pool walls, floors, and other aquatic areas to uphold cleanliness standards Pool Area Maintenance: Clean and maintain the pool deck and surrounding areas to uphold cleanliness standards. Perform routine inspections to identify and address any potential safety hazards.
Communication: Report all findings and maintenance activities to the Director of Maintenance. Collaborate with other team members to address any issues promptly.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in pool maintenance or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of pool cleaning equipment and maintenance procedures
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording testing results. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including weekends. Must have steel-toe shoes.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Work Environment This position requires occasional work in or around water, confined quarters, heights, loud environments and large crowds, and moving objects. A successful candidate will be able to work in all weather conditions, including vast temperatures and weather conditions.
