Head of Compliance, Health & Safety and Food Standards

Warehouse & Operations | Full time | £50,000 | Monday-Friday

Office Based - Edmonton, London

We're seeking a senior compliance leader to take ownership of food safety, health & safety and regulatory standards across a fast-paced warehouse and logistics environment.

This is a newly created role in a growing food business, where you'll act as the subject matter expert for compliance, ensuring full adherence to legal, regulatory and internal standards while driving a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:
Leading all food safety and H&S; compliance across warehouse operations
Ensuring full HACCP, hygiene, allergen control and BRC compliance
Owning audit readiness (internal, external and unannounced inspections)
Managing risk assessments, incidents and corrective actions
Developing and delivering compliance training across teams
Producing clear reporting and governance updates for senior leadership
Driving a proactive,



embedded safety culture across operations

What we're looking for:
Robust background in FMCG, warehousing or logistics compliance
Deep understanding of food safety standards (HACCP Level 4 essential)
IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)
Experience with audits (e.g. BRC) and regulatory bodies (EHO/FSA)
Robust analytical and reporting skills (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
Confident communicator with a structured, detail-driven approach
This is a hands-on leadership role with real influence over operational standards, safety culture and regulatory performance.
