SIIT is hiring for an Instructor in the Addictions, Community, and Mental Health Specialists program. This position involves creating lesson plans, utilizing tech advancements, and evaluating students’ progress to ensure a positive learning experience.
A focus on diversity and inclusion is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Design detailed lesson plans for diverse learners
Incorporate technology into instructional practices
Track attendance and course-required documentation
Assess and record student progress effectively
Maintain classroom discipline and recommend necessary actions
Requirements:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
Preferred: Knowledge of adult learning theories
Experience teaching in mental health or related fields
Ability to engage Indigenous knowledge in learning
Familiarity with First Nations cultures advantageous
