Responsibilities
Assist licensed plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
Prepare work sites by organizing tools, materials, and equipment needed for plumbing tasks
Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut pipes, assemble fixtures, and perform basic plumbing tasks
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support accurate installations
Support the assembly of plumbing components and fixtures according to specifications
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency




Follow safety protocols diligently and report any hazards or incidents promptly

Skills
Basic mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and construction tools
Familiarity with carpentry, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and welding is a plus
Experience with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprint reading, and basic math calculations
Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics for proper installation procedures
Robust teamwork skills with a proactive approach to learning current skills on the job
Knowledge of maintenance practices for plumbing fixtures and systems
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working in confined spaces
