Job Overview
We are currently seeking all BOH Team Members for The Modern in Qualicum Beach. This role is essential in ensuring smooth kitchen operations, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering excellent customer service through effective food preparation and support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to sanitation and quality.

Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality and presentation standards
Manage time effectively to handle multiple orders during busy periods
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and food handling areas in compliance with food safety regulations
Support food service operations by preparing ingredients and assembling menu items
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment




Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant workplace preferred but not required for all roles.
Familiarity with food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is advantageous
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
