THE ROLE – SANITATION EMPLOYEE
Browning Harvey Ltd. is currently looking for a permanent Sanitation employee in our St. John’s facility. This role, which is a unionized position with NAPE Local 7003, includes industry leading wages, a progressive vacation schedule, uniform allocations, group benefits and a pension plan.
This successful candidate will be responsible for performing sanitation activities to beverage production equipment. This role requires daily sanitation for all processing lines, plant equipment and general facility. The daily shift schedule would be primarily 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., with an occasional 4:00 p.m. to 12:00a.m. shift.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have completed a Bachelor of Science and/or a Food Safety diploma and will have work experience in the sanitation (CIP procedure) and microbiological field. Experience with RO/Ozone water treatment systems will be considered an asset. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve. Working a versatile schedule, and in a setting with heavy equipment and hazardous materials will also be required.
Pay: $33.52-$41.91 per hour
