The Role

As a Shallow Utilities Labourer, you will play a key hands-on role installing water, sewer, storm, and gas infrastructure across the Calgary region.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with trenching, pipe laying, and service tie-ins
Perform backfill, compaction, and site restoration
Load/unload materials and maintain a clean,



organized work site
Operate hand tools, compaction equipment, and small machinery
Participate in daily safety meetings and follow all safety procedures
Support the Foreman and crew to complete projects safely and on schedule

Requirements
Previous construction labour experience (civil or utilities preferred)
Physically fit and able to perform heavy manual labour outdoors
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
CSTS 2020, Ground Disturbance, WHMIS, and other safety tickets are assets
Reliable transportation and positive attitude
